Caption: British Leyland railbus LEV-2 (Leyland Experimental Vehicle). The LEV-2 was built in 1980 by D. Wickahm & Co. in Ware, England and initially was tested on the MBTA's experimental extension of the Lowell commuter rail line to Concord, NH. It was in service only from December 1, 1980 until December 15, when it was involved in a grade crossing accident. (August 29, 2010)
